The owner, his brother Johnathon, and the slim guy. I mean wow wow wow. This place is freaking awesome. A MUST VISIT FOR THE EXPERIENCE AND FOOD! This is some of the best pizza I've ever had. The toppings are so fresh and easily the best part. For the price that you pay, YOU SIMPLY CANNOT BEAT IT. We just ordered 20 wings, pasta, and a medium pizza with ranch. All under $50. YOU CANNOT DO JOSHUA TREE WITHOUT $5 PIZZA PLACE

Came here to save a few bucks as I'm roadtripping and it's stacking up... Amazed by this spot. Prices are extremely reasonable for the serving size, and my pizza was really good too. The guy running the joint was super kind and welcoming! Overheard about my girlfriend's bday and even gave her a slice of cake, how nice! Definitely coming back here during my trip!
Anytime I've been in Joshua Tree/Yucca Valley, this place has gotten my business. The people there are chill, nice, and the service is speedy. The food is delicious. The favorite thing I've tried is probably the jalapeño cheesy bread - absolutely mouth watering and worthwhile!
Yummmmm! Went late one evening, they were busy so I took the opportunity to get some steps in and made a sweet connection on the phone. I was brave and orders a gluten free pizza and boy was I surprised!! They did an Amazing job making the crust tasty and crispy. This is not common. There was no aftertaste and it did not fall apart. AND, I was able to order bigger than a 10inc. The toppings were absolutely yummy! My side salad was fresh. I ordered on site btw, and it was ready when they said. You want to check this place out. The guys were super nice as well! I'll be back in a future visit to the area
So glad we came here!! We arrived at Yucca Valley pretty late and $5 Pizza Place was one of the few restaurants that were still open. I wasn't expecting much when I first walked in, the first thing that caught my attention was the walls! Written and drawn all over, but I think it adds to the vibe of this place. Do gotta say though, the tables were dirty and sticky. But moving on to their pizzas, they were so bomb! The dough was super soft, the bottom of the pizza was crispy without being burnt, everything was perfect. I can't recommend this place enough!!
